These men’s grooming gifts are gifts my girls (with a little help from me) have bought for Mr Dad over the last few years (with the exception of Dr Anders products that were sent to us as part of a National Foot Week campaign) that he’s used, loved and often re-bought. Not all of them have been bought specifically for Fathers Day, some have been Christmas or Birthday Gifts but they have all bought with care and love.
My OH is quite tricky to buy for. He works long hours and travels a lot so we’re always looking for things to help him relax at the end of the day. Plus he loves his toiletries so we’re always on the look out for new and interesting, no fuss, products for him to try. These are his current favourites!
Elvis & Kresse Medium Wash Bag
I love Elvis & Kresse products and have bought a few of their bags over the years including their postbag, tote bag and overnight bag as well as this medium wash bag. The bags are made from decommissioned London firehose which makes the eco bags tough, durable and waterproof as well as super cool. Plus they donate 50% of their profits to The Fire Fighters Charity. It’s lined with waste parachute silk, is a fantastic size for holding men’s toiletries and its solid sturdy shape makes it easy to pack and helps protects all the lotions and potions inside.
BEARDED BEN Beard Brush
This Bearded Ben beard brush fits really neatly in the palm of your OH’s hand and is packed with firm Boar Bristles that are tough enough to get through a beard but soft enough not to hurt skin. It comes in a neat little tin and is a great compact size for travel.
Molten Brown Candles
Mr Dad loves the smell of molten brown candles and although on the expensive side the fragrance from them is one of the best around. They also last a long time. These candles are lit for an hour which allows the heat from the wicks to melt the wax and release the gorgeous aroma. Once the top cm of wax has melted blow out the candles and leave the fragrance to fill your room. The Russian Leather Three-wick Candle is one of Mr Dads favourite. L’Occitane Relaxing Pillow Mist
This Relaxing Pillow Mist by L’Occitane is perfect for helping busy minds relax. Although one of it’s base aroma’s is lavender it actually has a warm spicy undertone to it making it. Spray it onto your pillow or top of your duvet/throw just before getting into bed.
Korres Mountain Pepper Bergamot and Coriander Eau de Toilette
Founded by Greek pharmacist George Korres the brand is known for capturing the best of nature using the latest scientific advancements being heavily influenced by natural ingredients and traditions of Greece. I found them in a small local Bathroom Beauty Boutique and I love what the brand stands for and that they stood by their principals of being cruelty-free and chose to sell to China via their website, allowing them to bypass the Chinese laws to test products on animals. This Mountain Pepper Bergamot Coriander eau de toilette (for men) has a gorgeous warm spicy smell to it.
Korres Little Stars Shower Gel
This Korres Little Stars is a great introduction to their Shower gels and especially good if you need travel sized bottles or just can’t make up your mind which one you like the best. They are suitable for vegans, suitable for vegetarians and cruelty free
Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer
I ended up buying this Malin + Goetz Vit E Moisturizer for Mr Dad because he was forever buying skincare products that caused an allergic reaction or using mine. He was too embarrassed to go in and ask for advice so one day when we were in SpaceNK and grabbed an assistant and sat him down in a chair. It’s calming on the face and great for sensitive skin so there were no more reactions and it has a neutral smell which my OH loves. Add to that the fact that it’s works as both a moisturiser and calming aftershave and we had a win/win.
Dr Anders Podiatry Foot Care
I was sent these Dr Anders (podiatrist) Foot Care products to try out for National Foot Week and my OH really loves using them. They have a fresh unisex smell and are really easy to use and keep at the side of the bed. The intensive Rescue Balm is perfect for getting on top of cracked heels and we use it just before we go to bed whereas the nourishing daily works really well as a morning blitz just before you put your socks on. Developed by Podiatrist Dr Anders, these products have your feets best interest in mind, plus they are free from chemicals and cruelty-free.
