Wow, what can I say?! I’ve been shortlisted in the Craft Category for a Brilliance in Blogging Award with 15 other amazing crafty bloggers. 6 will make it through to the final.
I’m seriously very humbled that people took the time and effort to nominate me.
I’ve been blogging for a few years in a steady and slow kind of way. In my head I’m this efficient, sharp organised craft guru but the reality is far far removed from that vision. Life and family are always in the way and that’s just the way it should be …
It was my three gorgeous girls who got me into all this crafting.
I was forever making and crafting things with them and wanted to share our finds and makes. I sourced fun materials with cool colours and textures and started selling some of them and of course started blogging our projects.
As my girls have grown up so have the crafts and so has the stash in my house … we have a very creative household!
Through blogging I’ve had fantastic experiences (as have my girls), met fantastic people and made wonderful friends … it’s an amazing community to be a part of.
Through my girls I’ve rediscovered my love of arts and crafts and reconnected with the world around me in all it’s wonder (I have a family lifestyle blog here BlueBearWood). It’s true that children reignite the magic that’s around us everyday. The stuff that often gets lost in the rush of busy 9-5 lives.
