I’ve been wearing more practical shoes over the last week.
Initially it was for comfort having fallen down the stairs and broken my toe but the last few days it’s because the girls are home on school holidays so we’ve been having fun out and about as well as in the garden.
These boots are ancient. I bought them in Edinburgh about, uhmm … *starts using fingers*
Oh my goodness 20 years ago … I bought them about 20 years ago!
That’s a little depressing!
On the plus side they’ve lasted well. Made by Skechers, with a thick rubber platform sole, purple suede and some strong metal lace clasps.
They’ve been clubbing, walking, dancing, gardening, travelling, out in the snow and for paddles on the beach.
The only thing they’re not very good for is driving as I can’t feel the peddles very well under the thick sole.
