We’ve been having so much fun getting ready for Halloween this year as we’ve discovered how to make Halloween Fake Bloody Wounds using Special FX Wax by Snazaroo.
I happened to find a kit reduced (love a bargain!) from £10 to £5 in my local supermarket whilst we were shopping a couple of days ago and decided to buy it as we’ve had so much fun with snazaroo face paints previously. The kit came with a textured sponge, spreader, bright red blood gel, a small tab of dark muddy red face paint and the special fx wax (you can by this separately).
The Gel blood is very bright so I also use a darker fake blood (again bought from the Supermarket) plus some yellow, purple and black face paint to add bruising to the bloody wound.
I just love it. It’s the most amazing stuff and so easy to use.
This was my first attempt at a fake wound (no extra’s added)…
And this was my attempt adding some bruising.
I’m really looking forward to experimenting with it over the coming months (follow me on instagram to keep up to date).
The following video shows you just how easy it is to use.
I was not paid or asked to write this blog post. I recorded and wrote this tutorial to show you just how easy it is to use. The banner below should display some Snazaroo Special FX products. If you click on this I may receive a small amount of money as it is an Amazon affiliate link.

Oh wow, it looks so real! It actually made me feel a bit sick, haha.
