This weeks Gallery is Landscapes.
I don’t normally join in with the Gallery hosted by the lovely @Tara_Cain but this weeks theme grabbed my attention. But what to post?!
Maybe my garden? That landscape has changed loads. And then there the inside of my house! A landscape that is ever evolving, especially since having kids! Somewhere I’ve been on holiday? The Seychelles (beautiful, exotic and timeless), Finland (-30 degrees and stunning), Greece (sun, sea and fun. A bit like home!). Mmmmm. What to post??
A scene from our local park. This is from a few weeks ago when the South East had a mad flurry of snow that lasted a long long time. Snow is an amazing magical substance. It transforms the most mundane of items into glistening structural delights.
What I love about this picture is that it’s timeless. It could have been taken a hundred years ago and probably wouldn’t have looked that different.

I love that you chose a shot from your local park – the snow makes everything so pretty. I find it hard to shoot though – all that snow is very reflective!
that is a great picture…and I agree with what you say about snow transforming a scene….you can see all the brown & mud that lies beneath!

That’s true about timelessness of it. I love a snow scene ๐
Very nice! Love the trees and the bandstand.
Its like snow magic!! the branches on the trees look gorgeous!
A truly magical photo, it is timeless as you say ๐
Absolutely beautiful, I wish we had got some (just a flake would have been nice!)
The snow covered trees and that bandstand look so beautiful and delicate.
That is amazing. You’re right, it looks completely timeless. Christmas card worthy!
Remember this one from your Silent Sunday, I still love it!
Beautiful band stand, they always make me think of the first world war. No idea why.
Stunning picture. I love the snow x
