I hear loads of women over 40 talk about how much they hate wearing thongs. I totally get it!
They dig in and become more akin to some kinky rope tying cord than the sexy but practical undergarment they used to be.
Ok, you get rid of the VPL (visable panty line) but being choked around the waist or having extra dents in you sides as your soft flesh moulds around the thin elastic waist band just isn’t cool. The VPL saviour starts creating lines in other places.
Then one day I discovered Hanky Panky low rise thongs.
I’m not sure when I discovered them. I think some time into my early 40’s, when I was looking for something to make me feel a little sexy and comfy after time out to make babies.
These super soft, super stretch, wide waist band thongs in an array of candy colours are so comfortable.
They don’t pinch into your skin, so there’s no kinky red rope marks.
There is plenty of gusset to keep you neatly in place and they don’t pull up and give you an undignified wedgy.
They work beautifully with jeans, dresses … pretty much anything unless of course it’s so tight you need to go commando anyway!
They wash well, hold their shape and colour and because they fit so well they make you feel sexy!
Ok, It does mean I’ve had to go to the dark side and my knickers and bra no longer matches.
But that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make!

I can’t stand thongs and I’m nowhere near 40! These sound really interesting and I love all of the pretty colours. I think I gave up on having matching underwear once I got married 😉
They are such pretty colours but I don’t think I will ever wear thongs again!

They do look lovely…I’m not sure that I can bring myself to go down the thong route again though!

I hear you on the String Theory of thongs – I just buy them a couple of sizes up so they’re not so snug, but these look a lot more alluring.
Ive never been able to bring myself to wear thongs, I find them too uncomfortable x
