Easy Cake Decorating With Kids
Never has cupcake decorating with three kids been so easy. ‘Cakes by Lynz’ was there with an abundance of cupcakes, butter icing and sprinkles.
She demonstrated how to make various swirls on cupcakes and add decorations with parents watching intently. The kids on the other hand yawned, shuffled and rolled their eyes with impatience (well mine did) until the magic words ‘right let’s get on with it’ were announced.
Loads of small hands lovingly squeezed, rolled and licked their way through mountains of buttercream, icing and sprinkles as they thoughtfully created little masterpieces to take home.
I was really impressed with the ability of my three who had had very clear ideas about what they were going to create and who it was for. I love that they made cakes for each other!
Even more impressive was their delight in clearing up afterwards! I kid you not when I say that after most people had gone to eat the lovely lunch provided, my three were still cleaning up in the kitchen!
Mr Muscle Touch Up Cleaner
What had grabbed their attention?… nothing other than the new Mr Muscle Touch Up Cleaner, and I completely understand their enthusiasm.
Mr Muscle Touch Up Cleaner comes in an innovative bottle that is so easy and convenient to use. You just take a cloth, bit of kitchen roll or loo roll (there’s a bathroom version) place it on top of the bottle and push down. The cleaning fluid is pumped up onto your cloth and you can then easily wipe away the dirt. Perfect for busy parents and kids.
The small bottle has specifically been designed to leave out and blend into the room. It works on nearly all hard, nonporous surfaces including: sinks, countertops, toilets, appliances (exterior) stovetops, sealed granite & marble, glass, glazed porcelain, chrome, glazed ceramic tile, finished wood and more. Oh, and not only does it smell nice, it cleans and kills 99.9% of household bacteria.
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I’m impressed.
It’s handy having a small bottle of cleaning product readily available rather than being tucked away in a cupboard. The innovative pump means that I can clean one-handed, a strangely useful thing to be able to do in the kitchen. I never realised how much of my time in the kitchen involves having something in my hand!
It’s also made it easier for my girls to clean up. I don’t have a soggy sponge trail all over the floor. And in the bathroom it’s worked wonders as the girls now clean the sink after themselves … one less job for me.
Retailing at £2.99 Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner can be found in all major supermarkets and is a cleaning product I will be adding to my shopping list.

Loving the cupcakes they look fab! We have some of this cleaner and it is so handy isn’t it. I love how easy it is to use and the fact that it actually looks nice enough just to leave on the windowsill
I now need cake!!! And most definitely that cleaner too
