Cute Autumnal Woodland Animal Craft

I love how cute this seasonal woodland animal craft turned out and it’s made using old cereal box card. It’s makes most delightful wall hanging and the eyes make us laugh every time we walk past as they’re always looking at us.

For The Woodland Animal Craft You Will Need

Empty cereal boxes, Masking Tape, paint, paintbrush, scissors, google eyes and an old plank of wood plus drawing pins (optional).

Woodland Animal craft badger, fox, mouse

Cut a semi-circle of card from a cereal box. Curve it round and secure with good quality masking tape. Cut out some ears and attach them with masking tape as well. Make sure the glossy printed side of the card is on the inside as the paint won’t stick to it.

Use a good quality paint (I used thick matt poster paint) to add detail to your animal faces and add googly eyes.

Badger

To get the character of the badger you need small ears, the black stripes slightly to the side of the cone, google eyes that sit in the black stripe and a slightly flattened nose end.

Fox Paper Craft

Use a vibrant, red-brown, paint such as burnt sienna for the fox. Think about where the eyes are on a fox… quite close together just at the top of where the nose begins and large triangular-shaped ears.

Mouse

Add them to a piece of old weathered wood using a drawing pin  to hook them on to. Then hang them on your wall.

I plan to add the animal names underneath by decoupaging letters cut out of old newspapers.
