Crochet Crafty Creatures: Craft Book Review

If your looking for a a craft book full of cuteness then Crafty Creatures by Jane Bull is just perfect. Every page is busting with brightly coloured creatures making the book a delightful read for young crafters.

Crafty Creatures Book

All the projects involve sewing and knitting with the book being broken down into five chapters. These cover wool, felt, non felt sewing, embroidery and finally a useful last chapter that breaks down all the different stitches required.

Crafty Creatures felt

Each project has a step by step guides that includes templates where necessary.

My only criticism if that sometimes the busy pages are confusing as the instruction and materials required are not always in an obvious position on the page.

Crafty Creatures is published by DK Books and is available as a hard back or an ebook. It’s a book meant to inspire with each page delivering a wonderful crafty feast to the eyes and having seen the excitement on my girls faces when they look through it that’s exactly what it does.

DK really do make some great ‘how to’ books, this looks like another one to add to the list.
