First Portrait – Gallery 96

Apologies if these photo’s offend anyone but they are a set I am very proud of and as soon as I saw this weeks ‘The Gallery’ I knew that I was going to join in.
 
These aren’t technically my photo’s. 
 
They were taken by my talented mum.
 
But I was present … body and soul!

    I am speechless. I gave birth naturally twice and I didn’t want to see or know what was going on down there. I think these pictures are beautiful and intense. Thank you for posting them because they reminding me the meaning of the incredible experience of giving birth.

    Oh wow. That is absolutely fascinating. I’ve never seen anything like that before. You could put that it a text book for midwives. The miracle of life. Incredible when you think about it.

    WOW. These are incredible photos. I’d have loved if someone had taken pics like that of my first birth. (The second wouldn’t have had the same impact with ruddy great forceps in the shot!). Thankyou for sharing these. xx
