Indulge In Some Bath Time Luxury With Olverum Bath Oil

As the dark cold Winter nights draw in, my appetite for long, relaxing, hot baths is increasing and the beautifully packaged Olverum Bath Oil is my current go-to bath time pamper.

Relaxing Aromatic Olverum Bath Oil

A capful added to running water disperses evenly in the bath (there are no oily lumps) filling your bathroom with the heady smell of ten essential oils – Eucalyptus, Lavender, Juniper, Lavandin, Lemon Peel, Siberian Fir Needle, Exotic Verbena, Lime, Geranium, and Rosemary. The quality is totally befitting of the Olverum name,  the literal meaning of which is ‘true oil’.

The vapours from the oils open up your airways and clear your mind, brushing aside the stresses of the day. Your body is left delicately moisturised and smelling gorgeous. The perfect antidote for a long tiring day and chilly winter nights. I described it as a warm wet hug in a bottle was how I described it to my OH.

It’s not surprising to find out it has a cult following spanning 8 decades! Created by Franz Ottto Klein (a wine merchant in Germany) the product is now under  British ownership having been relaunched in 2015.

Olverum Bath Oil Gift For Men

I loved the Olverum bath oil.

It’s perfect for my much needed wind-down, self-indulgent bath. Each small capful of oil creates a bath you want to stay in, so make sure you have plenty of hot water to top the bath up when it starts to cool down. And the aromatic smells lingers on your skin for the most relaxing sleep.

This bath oil deserves time, candles and a big fluffy bathrobe!

Packaged in a contemporary glass bottle Olverum bath oil a beautifully indulgent, unisex smell, that is perfect for relaxing the body and clearing the mind.

A 125ml bottle (Amazon affiliate link) will cost £29.00 (which is enough for 25 baths).

A 250ml bottle will cost £53 (which is enough for 50 baths).

A travel set costs £19 and (enough for 9 baths).

Their main stockists are Liberty, Conran, Harvey Nichols and Fenwick.

Disclaimer: I was sent a beautiful bottle of Olverum FOC to experience in return for this post

I love a relaxing bath, especially in the winter months. This bath oil sounds so luxurious and with the lavender it sounds like the perfect thing if you’re taking a bath before bed!

Oh just reading that list of essential oils makes me want to try it, it must smell just heavenly. I do miss having a home with a bath, nothing like a hot soak in the tub.

It sounds like a real treat. I miss long bubble baths. Since moving we only have a wet room and no space for a bath in a new place 🙁

I’m not a huge fan of baths but these colder days have me craving one! Would like to try this out, especially as my skin is so dry at the moment, too!

I so need this. I don’t have time for a bath – I shower, but I would love to treat myself. Kaz

Yes, the citrus notes came first followed by what I would call the more medicinal notes (pine, eucalyptus, rosemary). The floral notes are more subtle but I think they cat more as a balance to the overall smell. It’s a very cosy comforting aroma
