There are loads of parents that manage to juggle everything admirably … I am not one of those. I forget things, loose things and a great deal of the time I’m not even aware of things.
I am an unorganised parent.
So it was with yet another heavy heart that I had to tell the girls that they couldn’t be part of the Easter Parade because Mummy didn’t get the form in to the lady on time. I did try phoning up to see if we could sneak in but the nice lady said they had had so many entries this year that sit wouldn’t be possible.
They took it well and are more than happy to join in as part of the audience. Possibly spurred on by the fact they will get an Easter Egg early because of it (I’m not sure their size expectations will be fully met!).
So weather depending, tomorrow the three of them will proudly display their ‘hats of wonder’ to all the passing public knowing that if Mummy had got her act together they’d have won 1st prize ;o)
