We were sent three 10″ Planet Earth II soft toys to review
Each Plush Toy comes with a tag that contains a QR code that takes you straight to the Blue Planet II trailer. It also contains some informative facts that tell you a bit more about your plush animal.
BBC Planet Earth II – Sloth
The Sloth is definitely a favourite in this house. He (we’ve decided it’s a boy) is super soft and totally huggable. The tag tells you that he is a three-toed pygmy sloth from Escudo de Veraguas, Panama and that along with some other facts this cutie is sadly considered an endangered species!
There is something totally huggable about the Sloth design. You really want to pick him up and give him a squeeze and a cuddle and his plush fur is wonderful to run your fingers through… he’s definitely a forever friend!
BBC Planet Earth II – Lion Soft Toy
The lion is the most solid of the BBC Planet Earth II plush toys we were sent. His Tag tells you that he is from Okavango Delta, Botswana and that prodes of Lions from this region are known as Swamp Cats and there are very few prides of lions in the world that have learnt to hunt in swamps.
I love how Posh Paws has used two colours to create the mane and that they have taken it half way down his back. It creates a gorgeous full head of hair (or should that he fur?) They’ve also managed to capture that wonderful steely eyed proud lion stare.
Although his fur isn’t as deep and soft as the super furry Sloth he is still beautifully soft to touch.
BBC Planet Earth II – Elephant Soft Toy
The super cute elephant is wonderfully soft to squeeze and slightly floppy with a slightly weighted bottom and front paws. This allows him to sit up if displayed on a shelf whilst allowing him to be soft and cuddly at the same time. His tag says he’ from NamibRand, Nambia.
There is lots of clever detail built into this gorgeous plush – shading on the trunk, ears and eye fabric give added texture and definition. There’s even a little piece of fabric on the end to define the sensitive trunk end opening.
These gorgeous handcrafted premium plush toys are made to last and capture the character and beauty of each individual animal perfectly. The ‘Love Me For Life’ Tag on each animal will certainly hold true as these plushies are the kind of timeless keepsake that stay with children as they grow up into adults and have their own children.
