    A few years ago my daughter brought a pack home from nursery from the book trust. One of the items was a book called Open very carefully… Its about a crocodile who hijacks the story of the ugly duckling. My daughter loved it and we still have it on her book shelf even though shes now far too old for it

    my crocodile does not bite i remember my son use to take it out every week to our weekly libary trip for atleast 5 months about 4 yrs ago

    All my children have a special reading time
    every night The Enormous Crocodile is my 6 year old sons favourite he’s my second born I then have a 21 month old and 11 month old twins and he always gets me to read this to them too. It’s a book that’s in our routine

    My favourite crocodie story was in the Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling. In the story “How the Elephant got its Trunk”, there is a crocodile which gets hold of the elelphant’s nose, and in the ensuing tug-of-war, the elelphant gets its trunk.
